River Rafting at SOU

River rafting is one of the most enthralling adventure sports in the world. Narmada, the largest west flowing river in the country, and the lifeline of millions has now ushered in the thrilling experience for the adventure enthusiasts who can now enjoy river rafting in 5 km. stretch with whirlpools, rapids and many turns which provide an exciting and unforgettable rafting experience for the first time in Gujarat.

  • Approximate time required: 2 to 2.5 Hours
  • Age Restrictions: Strictly allowed for 15 to 55 Yrs.
  • Weight Restrictions: Strictly allowed for below 100 Kgs.
  • Time Slots: There ate 4 time slots between 10 am to 3 PM to choose from.

Charges: Per person Rs 1,000 SOU charges + Rs 200 service charge + 5% GST.

Useful Information

  • Pickup & drop point will strictly be Shrestha Bharat Bhavan Parking (Report at Rafting Helpdesk Cabin). It has all necessary facilities like Parking, Change room, Cafeteria, Locker, etc.
  • Visitors are required to be present before 30 minutes of reporting time at Shrestha Bharat Bhavan
  • You must carry present age proof for rafting. Rafting is not possible without an age identity card.
  • If customer fails to arrive at the booked time, Rafting will not be possible and no amount will be refunded.
  • If any person has medical issues, his/her rafting is subject to medical condition and at discretion of river guide. In case of cancellation by river guide, INR 1000/- per person will be refunded on recommendation of river guide.
  • Suitable dress for water sport/rafting like T-shirt & short for males & upper & lower for females are required (Ladies in Saree will not be allow).
  • We also strongly recommend participants to wear any footwear to negotiate small patch of rough surface during rafting.
  • Please avoid to carry any jewellery, mobile or any other valuables. Losing your valuable or goods will not be our responsibility.
  • We request all participants to listen safety guidelines and briefing by the guide before start of rafting very carefully.
  • Tourists must fill the waiver form duly read & sign before starting the rafting.
  • In rare case, if Slots are not available, we will refund the respective amount, within 24 Hours.
  • All Sightseeing at Kevadiya / SOU / Ekta Nagar remain closed on all Monday.
  • SOU Authority's decision will be final in case of any changes / cancellation / restrictions in attraction, shows, transport services, etc.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Full amount is refunded if cancelled 05 Days before of your visit date (5% Payment Gateway & Administrative Charges will be deducted).
  • No refund if cancelled less than 05 days to scheduled arrival.
  • Cancellation request date & visit date is excluded in days calculation.
